Video games

What is with the obsession with video games? I don't think it is a good sign that at five my son is already addicted. I don't think it bodes well for his teenage years. We have a playstation 3 which I bought for my husband knowing full well that he would play it everyday for about two weeks then only on the weekend then once a month and now maybe once every three months. My son however is a much more avid player. He asks me to play everyday and if I don't allow the Playstation its the Leapster or the computer. I'm hoping he becomes a very rich gaming wizard. Otherwise we are in serious trouble.
